In addition, here is other valuable information about our program and our application and selection procedures.

The Eagle Rock Multi-Age Program is a public elementary school choice program. Staff, parents, and administrators work cooperatively to provide this program for families in the Riverview School District. Teachers are certified Riverview School District Employees.

We believe that children should have the opportunity to develop a high level of self-worth, strong academic skills, personal responsibility and a love for learning. Developmental readiness is a primary consideration for student learning. These beliefs are the foundation for the integrated curriculum offered in an environment of trust and non-competitiveness.

At Eagle Rock, you will see teaching and learning in multi-age (more than one grade level combined) classrooms using a variety of effective hands-on, minds-on teaching methods. Learning occurs across grade levels and students work cooperatively as a learning community. The high percentage of parent participation helps facilitate small group instruction and enriches curricular opportunities. Students’ social and emotional growth is a strong focus as they learn to make wise choices and take responsibility for their own learning and behavior. Field trips, frequent guest speakers, and a thematic based instruction are an integral part of the program.
