Q. What is SCRIP?
A. SCRIP is simply a merchant gift certificate or gift card that
has been purchased by The Eagle Rock Multi-Age (ERMA) PTA.
We purchase SCRIP either directly or through a National SCRIP
organization for a discount. Gift certificates/cards are identical
to those you could purchase directly from a merchant.
Q Who can purchase SCRIP?
A. Eagle Rock Multi-Age attendees and relatives of ERMA School
students are encouraged to consider purchasing SCRIP. Neighbors
and friends are also allowed. There will be a $30.00 NSF fee
on any check that doesn’t clear.
Q. How can I participate in the program?
A. The Eagle Rock Multi-Age benefit from the purchases that you
would ordinarily make at no additional cost to you! The more
SCRIP you purchase, the more funds you can earn for the ERMA PTA to provide additional
funds for the Eagle Rock Multi-Age program. There is no minimum or maximum
SCRIP purchase and no service charge or fee to you.
Q. Where can I use SCRIP?
A. SCRIP, from a participating merchant, can be redeemed at any
location nationwide.
Q. Which merchants are available through the SCRIP Program?
A. Just some of the merchants include Safeway, Ixtapa-Duvall, ,
Home Depot, Lowe’s Hardware, Burger King, Wendy’s,
Claim Jumper, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, Eddie Bauer, Toys
R Us, Bon-Macy, JC Penny’s, Sears and many others. Check

all vendors and some limitations.
Q. Can I use SCRIP to pay on my department-store charge
account?
A. Some department stores will accept SCRIP as payment on your
account. When your bill arrives, just purchase the SCRIP from the
Eagle Rock Multi-Age, go to the store in person and apply the SCRIP
to your account. Review scrip department store restrictions at http://www.glscrip.com.
Q. Who benefits from my SCRIP purchase?
A. The earnings from your SCRIP purchase are deposited into an ERMA PTA bank account. The PTA funds are used to enhance and supplement the operating budget for ERMA.
Q. How much does ERMA PTA earn from my SCRIP
purchase?
A. Discounts vary by merchant from 2–25%. As an example,
if 5 supporters purchased just $500 each of SCRIP (at an average
discount of 5%) during one month, the earnings would total $125!
Q. How do I purchase SCRIP?
A. It’s so easy. Just complete a short order form (available
from the School Office and the Eagle Rock Multi-Age Web site, http://www.riverview.wednet.edu/erma/)
and return the order form and your payment to the ERMA PTA Scrip Coordinator box in the school office
during regular business hours, 9 AM – 3 PM.
Q. When will I receive my SCRIP purchase?
A. Orders need to be in the ERMA PTA Scrip Coordinator box by Monday, 3 PM
to be filled the same week. You may pick your order anytime after
9:30 AM the following Friday or have it sent home with your student. As time
goes on, we will also have scrips available for immediate purchase
via the scrip coordinator,

Q. Can I mail my SCRIP requests to ERMA PTA and have
my SCRIP mailed to me?
A. Absolutely. However, please allow additional time for mailing. Be sure to address it to ERMA PTA Scrips and include payment. Checks are payable to ERMA PTA.

Q. How can I purchase Scrips using a credit card?
ERMA PTA has set up a Paypal account for you to use your credit card for scrip purchases. The payment you make through Paypal will be deposited into an ERMA PTA bank acocunt.
