Emergency Information

In order to keep all students safe, it is essential that we have emergency contact numbers for each child. Please keep student files updated with current home, work, and emergency contact numbers.

In the event of an emergency dismissal due to power failure, extreme weather conditions, or unusual circumstances, it is important that students know what to do in advance. Please discuss a plan with your child.

In the event of snow, the Transportation Supervisor and the Superintendent will decide whether or not students can safely reach school. If schools are closed or start times delayed, announcements will be made on local radio and television stations.

Weather Conditions

Students should be prepared for any type of weather that may occur during recess times by wearing/bringing coats, hats, gloves, etc. Because our weather is very unpredictable and can change mid-recess, students can be caught unprepared if not dressed appropriately. Even when it is raining, children need the exercise and fresh air that recess provides.
