Homework Guidelines

The general philosophy of homework in Room #1 is intended for a fun experience of sharing classroom learning at home. If at any time there is an illness or an important family occurrence then homework can be set aside. Also if the homework appears at all confusing simply put it aside until we can clarify information together. This table offers some suggestions and particular requirements. Sometimes there will be a very specific assignment and at other times it will follow a more open-ended discussion. ALWAYS read with your child, as it is the most important foundation to establish at this age. All homework can be turned in to the dinosaur area, math on Wednesdays, reading packets and or other work on Fridays.

What did not work?

How do I want to celebrate my successes? How can I reward myself?

How can I make improvements?

Relax and have a fun family weekend!
