Grant Won... Nelda in Germany
Lisa Powers, first grade teacher and Nelda Brangwin, librarian received a $200 mini-grant from the Washington Library Media Association to provide poetry books for Ms. Powers Poetry Night held in the spring.
Nelda Brangwin was selected as a participant in the Goethe Institut Study Tour to Germany this past summer. She spent 2 weeks as the guest of the German Federal Government and the Deutsche Bank visiting Berlin , Hamberg, Hannover, Rostock , Heidelburg and Frankfurt in August.
