Morgan Wilhelm, CHS Junior and Student Representative to the Riverview Board of Directors, Receives State Legislative Recognition
While attending the School Board Legislative Conference in Olympia in February, Morgan Wilhelm, Cedacrest High School Junior and Student Representative to the Riverview School Board, had the opportunity to be involved in drafting legislation requesting all school boards have student representatives. Working with Representatives Toby Nixon and Larry Springer, House Resolution No. 4721 was drafted and adopted by the House of Representatives.
School Board President, Phil Gore, presented a framed copy of Resolution 4721 to Morgan at the April 25, 2006 School Board Meeting.
