Mission

To provide all students the opportunity to learn, grow and prepare for the challenges of the future.

Vision

CHS promotes the opportunity for all students to acquire the essential social, cultural and academic skills necessary for success in the 21st century.

About Cedarcrest High School

Cedarcrest opened its doors in 1993. The school was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1996, largely due to its innovative and responsive programs. Since then, these programs continue to evolve to accommodate the needs of our students and to respond to changing state and national requirements. Advanced Placement and Honors courses have continued to flourish as well as the Career and Technical Program offerings.

Presently, Cedarcrest High School serves approximately 850 students in grades 9-12, using a modified 6-period day to provide the needed year-long contact in the core areas.

At Cedarcrest High School all students have the opportunity to grow, develop, and reach for opportunities. As a staff, we are committed to working with your students in an environment that is respectful, inclusive, and responsive.

Parents/guardians and community members are invited to serve on building committees, interview teams or the Senior Project Panel. Cedarcrest welcome parent/guardian and community presence on field trips, at dances, in the classroom or in the office.
