Middle School Classes

*Students may register for 2 classes maximum*

 

Note:  There is no fee for Middle School classes

 

 

 

 6th Grade Math:

 

 6th Grade Language Arts:

·         This class will provide reading and writing instruction designed to prepare students for meeting the reading/writing standards on the Washington State Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). Students will be involved in lessons that focus on reading comprehension as well as content, organization and styles of writing. This class is open to existing 6th grade students who want to improve their academic performance in reading and writing.  Students need to come prepared to the first day of class by bringing paper and pencil(s).

 

7th Grade Math:

 

7th Grade Language Arts:

·         This class will provide reading and writing instruction designed to prepare students for meeting the reading/writing standards on the Washington State Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). Students will be involved in lessons that focus on reading comprehension as well as content, organization and styles of writing. This class is open to existing 7th grade students who want to improve their academic performance in reading and writing.  Students need to come prepared to the first day of class by bringing paper and pencil(s).

 

8th Grade Math:

·         This class will provide math instruction designed to prepare students for meeting the math standards on the Washington State Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). The focus of this class will be on lessons that use problem solving skills, mathematical concepts and reasoning. This class is open to existing 8th grade students who want to boost their math skills in preparation for high school.  Students need to come prepared to the first day of class by bringing paper and pencil(s).

 

8th Grade Language Arts:

·         This class will provide reading and writing instruction designed to prepare students for meeting the reading/writing standards on the Washington State Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). Students will be involved in lessons that focus on reading comprehension as well as content, organization and styles of writing. This class is open to existing 8th grade students who want to boost their reading and writing skills in preparation for high school.  Students need to come prepared to the first day of class by bringing paper and pencil(s).
